Known to some as "the first gunslinger" and known to others as "the last gunslinger", Eli Whately is really good at shooting people. He has been around since the Era of the Purge and hasn't quite adapted to modern times. He still wanders around as a grizzled old gunslinger who just wants to be left alone, unless he needs money then he goes bounty hunting. Despite being a legend due to multiple documentaries and a lot of video evidence of his skill, he really just minds his own business as much as he can.

He adopted and raised three children at one point in his long lifespan, these being the three Whately kids. Arkaric, Nila, and Synian. All of whom stand above the rest of the known system in terms of skill with the style of using dual handguns. Eli carries with him ancient and powerful enchanted weapons that people really want to figure out how they work but he doesn't like it when people ask him about them. Since that entails not leaving him alone.
