The star itself emits abnormal radiation that while not harmful to humans, makes long range scanning and analysis very difficult. It's potential bounty originally discovered by independent surveys.
A planet with a strange case of a moving ocean. The depth is so shallow around the planet that it doesn't collect anywhere and instead responds to the position of the sun depending on where in its orbit it is. As a result there is no dry land here that stays dry for longer than a few weeks. Its oceans are made of water but due to its constant motion it is always a muddy red from clay. There is no life or atmosphere.
A planet which is almost constantly glowing all the time due to the presence of luminous rocks that absorb sunlight and release it slowly over a long period of time, causing the night to be constantly glowing. These rocks form vast underground connections that mean even the rocks that are not exposed to the sun will glow anyways. Life is rich on this planet and the atmosphere is within tolerable range for most humanoids of Sol, the exception being kobolds and dwarves. Though it is habitable it is not recommended to remain exposed to the atmosphere for too long as it could have long term repercussions due to the high presence of unknown gases mixed with the atmosphere. Many are known to develop asthma like symptoms if they breathe the unfiltered atmosphere for longer than a full day. It also contains underground caverns that were once volanic tunnels but now carry water around the planet, eventually reaching lakes and rivers. Koura has a lot of plant life that seems to grow in peculiar patterns due to the sunlight rocks providing them light throughout the night. Its wildlife is comprised mostly of herbivores that eat the plants that grow enough to cover the rocks, thus perpetuating their ecological cycle. However, the predators on this planet are very large and aggressive.
Koura has two moons, Beta is a barren rock but Alpha has a large ocean. Though there is no life on Alpha as far as any survey has determined, just liquid water.
A planet covered in a vast connected ocean that appears pink from space. Its atmosphere is acidic and will corrode any ships that enter it, breathing it is lethal. Highly specialized equipment is required to explore the surface, as a result there is not much information. Scans reveal the planet to have plenty of life however.
Its moon is a lifeless brown rock but has a low pressure atmosphere that somehow generates windstorms. Though the thin nature of the atmosphere has rendered these storms to be quite mild by humanoid standards.
A frozen wasteland with nothing of interest found on it yet. Just rocks and water.
