A little further out then most colonists are totally comfortable with going, Talnet takes advantage of the fact that the Valdir mothership had already passed by some stars on its way here. Importantly, it knows some good spots for its intended expansion. Every planet in the Talnet system is rich in some resource or another, and is a pretty useful ground for exploitation. Despite its distance from the Sol System and its occupation by the strange Valdir, some are in a hurry to join the Valdir colonizers to make their fortune.
While it appears to be just a big ball of dust, TR2-1 contains a good chunk of rare and valuable metals underneath its surface. The terrain is mostly rocky hills but the formation of the metals below has resulted in there being a lot of cave networks, albeit not of the proper size for humanoid exploration.
A world containing enough biomass to be considered of interest for scientific study and colonization. Though it has peculiar atmosphere and gravity that would not support long term humanoid habitation. It is currently used for the harvesting of biomass by the Valdir swarm to transport to TR2-3 or for other various projects.
Chosen for reasons only the mothership can quantify, Althe contains something of key interest to sahad practitioners. Given that Valdir is the most advanced terraformer of all the empires, this was the only reason they needed as any other planetary features could be adjusted with ease. The most notable feature of this planet is a magical anomaly so large that it engulfs a quarter of the planet. To the naked eye it just turns the sky pink, but the sahad scholars seem a lot more interested in it.
Another world that would have been ideal for colonization with its existing oceans and minor presence of biomass. It is being harvested by Valdir for this mass but it also contains other natural formations useful for mining.
