Psionic Spellbook

Psionics utilize mental power to cast its abilities. Characters have a set amount of power between rest periods to use before they are unable to cast, the amount of points you have are based off of either your wisdom or intelligence (whichever is higher) and can be increased with talents. Though to start you must take the "Adept: Psionics" talent if you intend to cast. The alternative is to take psionic tattoos which are available in the equipment section.

 

Psionic powers, like most others, are sorted into 5 tiers corresponding to the level of power of those abilities. However, Adept: Psionics only gives accesss to tier 1 abilities. In the psionic tree in order to unlock additonal tiers you must reach a certain maximum of mental power (the same that determines how much you can cast).

Let's get down to numbers.

Your mental power is based off of either your int or wis modifier (whichever is higher). (int/wis)*2+talents.
To simplify this it will likely be double your int/wis modifier+10 (from the adept psionics talent).

To unlock each progressive tier you need to meet the following requirements.

Tier 1: Adept: Psionics talent, 18 Mental Power (MP)
Tier 2: Psionics Tier 2 talent, 4 tier 1 powers, 30 MP
Tier 3: Psionics tier 3 talent, 5 tier 1 powers, 3 tier 2 powers, 45 MP
Tier 4: Psionics tier 4 talent, 6 tier 1 powers, 4 tier 2 powers, 3 tier 3 powers, 50 MP
Tier 5: Psionics tier 5 talent, 7 tier 1 powers, 5 tier 2 powers, 4 tier 3 powers, 3 tier 4 powers, 100 MP
