The third survivor of the Hunwe clan to rise as a harrowed under the ministrations of their shaman. Mazazi, also known as Mazi, is the clan's best warrior. He is known for his ability to throw a spear with incredible range and accuracy, as well as his raw strength. He has a gun too but he finds it amusing to throw a spear half a mile through someone's head. Someone once introduced him to the concept of a bayonet, then realized having him throw his rifle was probably not the best idea.

Mazazi prescribes to the art of the howler, and after eating enough manitous he turned himself into some sort of wolf creature. Not quite a werewolf, but close enough. He studied under the tribe's master shaman, Alihana, on how to do this. Since his resurrection as a harrowed, his already significant bulk has become nearly indestructible. While most harrowed are fairly resistant to bullet wounds, Mazazi is basically immune to anything below a certain amount of force. Being immune to both small arms and knives alike. Only other supernatural creatures have the strength to have any effect on him with regular weaponry.

Ever since his resurrection and moving to the outskirts of Rapidvale, Mazi has worked as a hunter to trade meat and pelts to the town. He lurks in the woods, feeling a harrowed howler doesn't have much place in a civilized town. he doesn't quite realize that the locals like him, he's fluffy and well mannered. They put up with vampires, witches, and a wendigo - a beastkin howler is the least of their concerns.
