Biography
Formerly an ambassador of Alnae, he wound wind up working for Kaylen until the signing of the treaty. Once Kaylen disappeared, he opted to stick around and keep doing his diplomatic job for the Federation now. He had gotten comfortable working there under the various missions he had to do. While he never quite fit in on the frontier due to his fondness for luxury, these days Alnae isn't in any better state.
Old Bio: An elven ambassador from Alnae, formerly a member of the government as one of the city representatives in the council courts. Given that the city is now in ruins and the actual mayor is still missing, he opted to take the assignment to work as an ambassador from Alnae rather than sit around and help govern rubble and corpses. He has been working within the Alnae government for around seventy years in various positions and has a fondness for art and literature.
Aboard Somnus he's a little out of place among the frontiersmen. He dresses a bit too nicely and has a natural warmth to his character that many aboard the station lack. He does his best to get along with anyone he comes across though has a distinct issue understanding the challenges of a frontier colony. Since his position does not lend him to worrying about such things, he is fascinated by the alien world of Koura and keeps taking trips out into the wilderness just to take pictures and play civilian scientist by writing down the kinds of birds he sees. Hylavi is generally always stressed out about him getting eaten by some alien monster and is forced to keep constant track of him to make sure he doesn't just wander off into the wilderness on his own.
