Biography
One of the Alnae generals who became warlords when the nation began to fall. Though he hasn't been a general for very long, getting the rank when several members above him were assassinated and he was a mix of durable and lucky enough to still be standing afterwards. He and the others involved gave the rank to himself upon creating an independent state to look over the state of Iothaes after electing him to be in charge of managing the state. Prior to all of this he had been an assistant to a division that focused on managing Alnae's many outposts and bases across the system. With the actual leader of that division dead, he wound up taking over just in time for everything to fall apart. Seeing the need to focus on what he could actually help, he amassed the resources available to him in one place so he could at least prevent one place in the system from fallling apart.
Preskian is known for having his fair share of wild schemes for better or worse sometimes. Often preferring to take big risks for the chances of big rewards even before his current position, and the habit didn't leave him with the new level of responsibility he had. Preskian believes that playing it safe will result in him being locked in a stalemate with whoever his most prominent rival at the time is, but that if the other twelve powers all take bigger risks he'll fall behind the one of them that succeeds. So he plays his bets to try and be the one that succeeds sometimes rather recklessly.
