Janky update due to momentum reset

The war continues on. Our main envoys up north have moved southward to meet with Ragniva. The Hedin have made it south to the Vargr village with Losvir as their prisoner, the Asvald are led by Haleh and continue to raid around the north hunting down the scattered remains of the alliance. Hallvard is moving eastward to regroup with the rest of his army, Hakenu’e is with him.

One of the Thorin alliance clans reached the Ivor, though they’re a little worse for wear at the moment. We’ve touched back in with the Ivor and they seem a bit more…numerous than when we last checked on them. It seems they have been summoning the more wayward members of the clan to their ice village and concentrating their numbers there.

Alihana went to meet with Ragniva which turned largely into a bunch of sizing each other up. Alihana is, as usual, content to declare herself superior but everyone other than Sawiri is a bit less sure about it, though that might be blamed by meeting in the middle of Ragniva’s army.

Lukia has managed to merge with the northern group, which is most of our currently deployed people.

The party is currently moving towards the northern edges of the Vargr territory to meet back up with Hallvard and his forces that he is also trying to reach.

As for trying to recruit the battle shaman I assume you mean the Hedin chief? In which case they’d need to go to the Vargr village to look into that.

The Travelers met up with Citlanal to see about the howling horror business, though they managed to beat it up a little they haven’t managed to actually kill it yet.

Lokola’i has joined up with the northern group.

As for assassinating the other chiefs I would recommend poisoning Xoco’s honey, collapsing Chants’ scrying tent, burning the Huanacan forest, and then just regular ‘send Sakazai at them’ for the rest. Though Hakenu’e might be a more complex situation.

Silas is doing alright, though he keeps wandering off around the island and staring pensively into the distance.

The savage folk are not actually that bad at group combat, about on par with most others we’ve met.

To which end, Hallvard apparently can’t go any faster than he does. Its part of how his ability works, not that he fully understands it.

Also yes the other clans still haven’t responded to half the things you said.

To be fair if 60% of your update is to the other players, its probably a discord thing as I’m not sure if they read your section of the sheet and then respond to it.

Well in theory you could vent magic from yourself if you knew a particularly powerful spell, though that would likely require a ritual circle of some sort. The issue is finding a spell that specifically does this. Mana is a little bit…sticky. Whatever it finds its way into it is reluctant to leave unless given a purpose. Though I’ve never actually tried to use enough that the cracks on my face would go away, even if temporarily. I just…never really worry about running out these days as my magic is not too draining for how much I actually have. Alihana probably has the most direct way of doing this as she can conjure fire, which consumes a lot and in theory if she just made a lot of fire really quickly…

Unfortunately, despite her many apprentices, no one has figured out how to perform this other than herself.

About that whole “relieving Caowei” thing. We’re still kind of stuck up here thanks to the siege of Ragniva we haven’t dealt with yet. No one can get up or down from the Auwana unless they can fly or fight…whatever happens if you add another number after three numbers of zombies. Sooo I’m still here.

Caowei still started on her trip to the east to see whats out there before we inevitably wind up there against our own judgement. That will be a bit of a walk though.

To another end, three quarters of the tribe’s warriors are now geared for some cold excursions though it would still be rough, it is now possible to deploy larger numbers provided we could get them onto the ground. Aforementioned siege still being a problem.
