SoL 26

Things had actually been fairly calm these last two months, with the most exciting thing being Vassago’s attacks throughout Hale’a and the Drakon reinforcements. Its become clear Eret has returned to his pirate ways, it seems he’s not even trying to be the secretly-a-good-guy kind he used to be. He’s already reclaimed his position as the southern lord of Atlantis and has proven exceptionally violent even for a pirate, having killed Gorou upon meeting him since he already had a different second in command in mind. While the pirates of South Atlantis have mixed reception to their new boss the three attempts to remove him from power failed spectacularly. Notably two of them were committed by jinko that had been forged by Gorou’s factory here in Atlantis. Vris has noted he has been going around capturing demigods for some reason or another.

Meanwhile on the east coast, it seems another wave of Drakon forces have arrived to reinforce the existing ones. As Nazarius planned all those months ago, the real military seems to be arriving to deal with Angra. They don’t seem particularly lax this time around with just some colonists coming to check the place out. Voynaye, the dragon lord of war, has arrived in person. While we considered Vassago pretty big, Voynaye is colossal, his talons are the size of a castle tower and he could easily go up against Bahamut. Fortunately for us, at least for now, Voynaye was sent to kill Angra. The original scout expedition came to investigate the use of dark magic they had felt, and now that Angra showed up Voynaye is here to wreck his shit. Though the half a year voyage took him so long he was unable to save Shenlong or Nazarius.

Voynaye’s army is unlike Adrelemech’s scout and conquer force, it is entirely made for large scale combat and nothing else. It didn’t even bring supplies to colonize and its unclear how long they will stay if Angra is defeated. That being said, he brought an army around seven hundred thousand with no slaves among them, a force large enough to crush every existing Drakon colony combined and then some as these dragons have war aspects among their masters.

After convening with Krovsokol and Adrelemech, Voynaye would demand Bahamut to meet with him. He was somewhat surprised when Song Yi also came along and Bahamut made it clear she was the one in charge. In essence, he made it clear that if Song gets in his way he’s going to kill her and everything around her. However, he’s only here for Angra after that he’s going home with his army and leaving the colonists to do what they will. Confirming that he’s not here to expand his domain, just kill Angra. The collective council of the Song Empire sighed in relief at that, as after coming into contact with him Raijin confirmed that Voynaye is on Otoroshi’s level and could have crushed Shenlong or Ryujin had they still been alive.

Voynaye’s officers were surprised but accepted the offer from Song to come to Hale’a for strategic communication. They’re in the city of the Aetas since the Aetas has the largest number of people proficient in the Drakon language, and Vris who is fluent enough to speak it as if she were a native already. The city is currently having to deal with the fact that his officers are dragon masters and take up a lot of space, fortunately due to the spirit’s building codes there’s a lot of empty space to stick them in. While Voynaye is here on imperial business, all the independent colonizing has been halted as not to get in his way buying us time to focus purely on Angra and Atlantis. Adrelemech has been forced to sit and wait until Voynaye declares his business is done.

Unlike the more complacent Adrelemech who is just waiting to resume conquering, Krylo has come with Voynaye’s forces to help out as a general, and for the personal glory of heeding the call of the Imperial Warlord of Drakon. Krylo is currently hanging around with Song, unlike all the other dragons who just get confused with her being the leader over Bahamut, Krylo is deeply fascinated with her and her abilities. To the point that some people are a little concerned about how he’s learning every ability she has and the rules she’s constrained to.

The main commander at the Aetas city, Voingos is a look into the other more serious side of Drakon. Formerly we met with colonist exploiters and two mad scientists looking to test their works. Voingos is much more formal and a part of a military structure with a much more serious personality.

This dragon master has a single minded focus of his mission goal and doesn’t really express interest in us which is actually an improvement from ‘not-people’ now its just ‘not relevant’. Though he is interested in tier 1+ champions and gods, he considers lesser units such as the honorbound or Vua Cai marines to be beneath notice.

While we have yet to see him in action, it is said by the Drakon that Voingos is a master strategist even if only the fourth advisor in line to Voynaye’s army. Lately he spends his time sending out scouts and reviewing information with Vris to collect as much intel as he can about this continent to prepare for war. In terms of raw power, Voingos can rival Vassago and has the power of a war aspect. Though the buff he gets at the start of combat is basically the maximum others can have, it just goes up from there. His presence is worth as much as Teozix’s flag chair, and he has two other masters with him who have even more buffs. He has taken a fascination with Tena and her abilities.

Ifrit has calculated that Angra will be back in three weeks, Voynaye has been preparing.

Shento:

After Sarnai was burned by Vassago a lot of effort has been put into recovering. While Vris restored all the buildings, thousands are dead. Most notably, Vassago destroyed the main temple and Kiala’s lab in his attack though its unknown if he was aware of where the lab was or not as he did kind of hit almost everything in the city. We’re pretty sure he was told to hit the temple directly though, given Eli’s M.O.

Since Sarnai is pretty much jacked up, rebuilding in Si Da is only natural now and a lot easier to convince people to transition.

The main problem right now is that with Voynaye’s arrival and recent utilization of the Aetas for an outpost is that Aeth is stalking them instead of coming north to hang out in the new city. Emilia points out to Su to tell you we need to get Aeth out of here and give him something to keep him busy. She has no doubt that he’ll attack them soon as he spots an opening and she feels we really really really shouldn’t piss off the giant war dragon that Raijin described as “Otoroshi’s equal.”

Your kids may be about to do something really stupid to avenge their sister. Somehow Kiala got her hands on a bunch of leviathan chimeras recently. Emilia is concerned about this tendency of Krovsokol to send her free monsters to fight your enemies with all the time. Krovsokol is neither generous nor stupid, he’s up to something.

Sima Wa:

Made with the magic ingot, the first jinko magician of all time. Miyukai is also the first that is distinctly feminine, since its based off of Isis herself. While somewhat fragile as the magic ingot isn’t the strongest material for armor, its still a big piece of metal so not the easiest thing to kill without a mace or something.

Miyukai is naturally gifted with magic, already able to demonstrate multiple methods of offense but is currently training at the temple of Isis with her people to learn the deeper craft of magic. Personality wise, Miyukai is naturally inquisitive possibly to the detriment of their health.

However, it is noted that because of their magical construction their core has been warped and they have a theoretically infinite lifespan as there is no sign of the process of decay. However, their magic does draw from the core and it needs to recharge itself. Despite the god-made core that gives them the power to use magic, they do still sleep unlike the upgraded core of Takeshi since the use of magic is massively draining on the core.

While production of heavier jinko hasn’t been able to officially start yet, the production of a specialized facility for making them has, which goes hand in hand with the re-expansion of Kagayakashi anyways.

Daisuke has started a project to run rails through the dream portals since we have trains now, it would help with mass shipments quite a bit. The Gun Train is just sitting in a warehouse somewhere for the time being though until it has a place to go.

Lin Sun:

Your kid rampaged around for awhile. Bae says you may need to kill him, she’s obviously angsty that he not only kidnapped two of her daughters but sent them to Angra.

You have war dragons camping in your city and hanging out with Vris. Suffice to say your city is currently unsiegable, bring it on Eret boy. The dragons for the most part mind their own business but some of the war striders come into town now and then. Despite the running stereotype of off duty soldiers, the army of Voynaye never seems to get the stick out of their ass and chill at the pub. This is probably to your benefit as while it makes them less personable its way better then rowdy drunk striders. They seem to like your library though.

You discovered you have a daughter named Astrid after the dead high prophet. She is only a few years old, yet Freyja confesses she has powers. She has seemingly teleported, and investigation from Isis shows the kid has already manifested the ability to freeze time, the ultimate ability a time aspect can have. Also it can fly, this has made it very very hard to babysit.

Con Lai:

Yukari has entered a bit of a depression with the loss of Ailani and Johann who were her friends. She has taken to drinking a bit along with Adin.

Joacheim has taken over as acting admiral of the navy.

Due to the nature of the dragons camping in Aetas territory you’ve had striders come and go through the portal network recently, though we don’t know how much they understand the place and if they’ve drawn the correlation between it and Vobrazhen back home yet.

Milen recovers successfully and wanders off to nap further away from the temple before you send him out to do something like that again.

Meanwhile the purple sleeping lord finally became frustrated with trying to understand humans and went out to the human world himself. Milen named him Tatu Kuu so he’d have a name which is apparently important to humans. With Giza and Sanyar as his bodyguards he has been touring around and insisting that humans are silly. He later commandeered one of your naval ships to go check out the ocean for a little while, he came back and stated that the ocean is boring and flat. But he likes sushi now and has made outrageous demands for lots of sushi.

The trade network continues to be pretty sweet and makes you rich as hell.

Late Addon:

Eret sacrificed his captives including Ailani, Johann, two valkyries, and Baron Samedi to Angra using his employee discount he was able to perform resurrection with just those five trades since Angra thought the resurrections would be used for his own forces as it were. He chose to revive five dead people to form his new southern atlantis, ruled over by people he could count on. Some took a little convincing but he knows how to convince anyone of anything with his power anyways.

In a twist of events, Lucifer surrendered very very quickly. So no one important died, and now everyone is terrified of what he may or may not be planning.

After the entire continent proceeded to unite to form a super empire, Song Yi did a lot of things in rapid succession to get things smoothed out. It has however terrified everyone that the day after Asmodaeus called her his queen she became much much more clever and started to demonstrate an ability to use his strategy to back people into corners.

Song has given the Jakaal a new lifestyle and pit, focusing primarily on training with dark spirits. Despite Vo’s protests on the grounds that they can no longer follow the strongest since she will practically own them, she offered the alternative of being hunted down and killed for breaking national laws so they’ve decided to go with option A.

Saldis was furious but somehow Song managed to convince them to stick around with her new empire, remaining in the northern wastes of Si Da. As much as she hates Ishtar, Yi pointed out she was forced to kill and eat her own son and sort of won the personal tragedy pity battle. She also pointed out that if Saldis can’t hide in hell anymore, no undead army is going to protect her from Song’s new military, and said undead army can’t exactly go into hiding given how vast it is.

Azazel, Heisi Siwang, and Nergal disappeared after Lucifer’s surrender. Since they didn’t take their armies with them, it has been difficult to find the stealthy bastards, likely thanks to Nergal. Though several champions did go with them and are currently listed as wanted.

Song would later begin to mass terraform the continent, mostly to fix the desert at the request of Horus and Ifrit who aren’t really all that fond of the sands. She moved her capital to the heart of the southern wild lands where she is most powerful and hardest to reach. Though she did so by causing the world turtle to actually stand up and walk over so she could have her ancestral homeland back. It was a freaky few months while people could see the turtle over the horizon walking through the clouds. She has retaken Yaosai as her capital, the mystical lengdon mountains remain a land of ice, lava, and mysterious forests. Now inhabited by tons of strange spiritual creatures and the capital itself is the chosen place of mystics to hang out if not just for the chance to be closer to some of the more powerful spirits which lurk there. In a strange development, Song doesn’t live in her old Lengdon palace. In fact she’s been very clear that no one is to ever go in there under any circumstances. She had that look that implied death if someone did go in there, the doors have been welded shut. Instead she placed her personal altar in the center of Yaosai, its a huge tree that reaches to the top of the cavern and adds a canopy by itself. She didn’t bother building a temple since the whole mountain range is technically hers, a temple so overly grandiose that a god turtle carries it on his back. Given her tendency to live outdoors its not surprising she didn’t bother building a new palace, though Izumi built one along the mountains for herself because she likes things like roofs and beds.

Ingots collected: Moon, Magic, Blood, Wind, Lightning, Earth, Lava (comes in form of obsidian but is a godly material), Temptation (makes people want it, whatever form its in), Neith’s (its glowy and white, no one knows what it does), Djinn (can be used to make a “lamp”), Luck

You build a bunch of things on your sheet. Though the science projects haven’t completed. Kagayakashi still isn’t quite up to its former glory but progress is underway. Though now its also being made with docks intended to accommodate airships which is a new feature.

Shento:

In looking for a new paladin to replace the grandmaster, Ailani gives the position to Eztli, which turns out to annoy Emilia and many other paladins. Ailani did it to increase her influence and argued that the demigod has had training in the time chamber but was snubbed the promotion due to their own weird politics. Eztli can in fact beat every other paladin after all.

On an unrelated note, Emilia is still trying to recruit Aetharas to the order, and had apparently been prepared to give him immediate and high rank if he did so once she realized he’d already defeated dragons and Anna in single combat. She has mentioned an intention to rig the drawing at the next Senshicon to see if Aeth can beat Eztli.

Ryner disappeared again, likely back to his shack in the northern wastes.

Elvira and the remains of Sokol’s monsters have also taken off, heading back east to the dragon colonies.

Aetharas disappeared again, no one knows where he went. He reappeared a month later and didn’t really mention where he’d been, even when questioned. Even Anna has no idea where he went or what he did, he didn’t even come back with new pieces. This wouldn’t really be such a big deal but then Song mentioned he disappeared out of her spirits ability to track as well….in the middle of the wild lands. He somehow knows how to get outside of godvision and the spirit’s sight and doesn’t talk about whatever he’s doing. Later in the week he did it again, but for a much shorter duration and once again no one has any idea what he’s doing or how he’s disappearing like that.

Ailani has been spending a little too much time with Asmodaeus and his people.

Lin Sun:

Coat doesn’t get any better, its a time reversing coat. No amount of forging makes that any better.

The problem with finding Eret again is no one has seen him since or Sahar for that matter. They might be in Atlantis but we can’t godvision that.

And no you can’t bless Adin’s spirit guardian, its also technically blessing her which is her infusion.

Vris points out her kid likely would have died were not for the training she had already.

After recruitment efforts the Honorbound have bolstered their numbers to 130.

After the failure of Kekoa, Kiala tried to find more willing recruits. She found one in a man whose home had been destroyed by dragons.

Composed of monsters and dragons, Aetharas is her first major success. He holds a dragon aspect of blood, fire, and storm. His demon horns allow him to wield hellfire as well. Chimera 98 has a habit of capturing and dissecting his prey to bring home and have sewn into him by Kiala.

He has shown himself to be abnormally well educated in anatomy and was a former samurai of Taiyo before he came seeking black magic.

One of the marines for the Vua Cai navy. After Zhang’s departure to become the king of Divus Joacheim became one of the main commanders and is in line for consideration to overtake the lord admiral position.

He has no black mage abilities as he doesn’t practice cannibalism but showcases himself as an adept commander of his fleet. Sanyar gave him a toy from the purple sleeping lord, his pistols can shoot something very similar to Baridi’s attacks.

Whately is an undead gunslinger created by Saldis to keep Nila company. Resurrected and given revenge over his killers, he has since made for poor company as he wanders off to do his own thing a lot.

His weapons all have demon spirits in them, giving each one a unique property. His rifle has a seeking bullet, his sawn off shotgun shoots a cone of hellfire, and his pistols are capable of shutting down regenerative abilities as well as poisoning whatever they shoot.

He seems somewhat of a drifter, never really getting involved in big wars. But for those that know what he can do, an era of terror is upon them.

Stories of Lore 24

With the death of Shenlong and his Drakon Colony the Drakon relationship with our continent has definitely become a little iffy. Though by necessity the alliance of available nations has strengthened significantly in no small part thanks to the portal network of Con Lai.

Most of the forces have moved into northern Hale’a as that is where Angra’s fortress is moving to chase the evacuating population of both Shahira and Akhetaten, Song Yi has decided the mountain range that borders Shahira and Hale’a to be a fitting place to engage the fortress city in one massive stand. By the time the armies reached its southern range she had already terraformed the entire southern side to make mobilization very easy for them, the north side being even more jagged and treacherous.

Song Yi took a side trip to defeat Eli in a duel to claim the loyalty of the Jakaal. This prompted Shen Rai to show himself in an attempt to take them back by killing Song Yi, only to fall into Song Yi’s trap and Shen Rai got beat to a pulp by Raijin. The Jakaal now swear their loyalty to the thunder god, the strongest of all the fighters. Though Raijin is still bound by his oath to Song Yi, and has ensured they obey her as well. People are puzzled that Song Yi didn’t kill Eli when she had the chance, though she stated he was a necessity and seems to have incorporated his continued chaotic existence into her plans.

Some people are growing concerned that Song Yi has been becoming too comfortable going to darker places to accomplish her goals, even if she continues to point out the way her aspect works forces her to mirror those she represents.

The Battle of the Mountain

Angra and his fortress collided with the alliance forces along the mountain range north of Hale’a recently. Song Yi led a personal strike team to bring down the city while other forces repelled the invaders on the ground level.

Song Yi took a desperate risk and summoned Song Fang from the depths of the earth to fight for her while being controlled by her daughter Hei Song. This functioned as a turning point in the battle and allowed the ground forces to hold off Angra’s forces while Song Yi went to confront Sima Wa, who she successfully brought home.

Before Eret could be dealt with, Vassago and Sahar showed up to kidnap him into Sahar’s sword.

Aftermath

After the battle a council was held to decide what to do now. Concerns were brought up about Song Yi’s growing influence over every other nation especially after placing a black mage as the king of Divus. Also regards to her shady actions recruiting the Jakaal to her nation giving her access to the jinko, senshi, and jakaal super elite warriors. Along with her black mage and spirit infused populace, her military could easily overwhelm every other nation’s combined now (heroes not counted). Not to mention the Vua Cai gives her economic dominance as well, and the Aetas came up with the only method of rapid repopulation possible. She has every asset she needs to take over the whole continent purely by colonizing faster then anyone else can keep up with.

There is also the issue of the fact she revealed she can just summon Song Fang from the earth to fight for her as long as her daughter is nearby. She has since returned him to his fiery prison to continue draining his power, but given how long that will take she definitely has access to a trump card if backed into a corner that she just showed she is willing to use. Supporters point out that she did just save the entire continent from Angra’s offense that wiped out the Jade Empire within a month, while Angra isn’t gone yet this is the only ground the alliance has made against him.

Public opinion is beginning to shift on Song again, with more and more people outside of Hale’a seeing her as the next devil if she continues to be willing to use her darker war assets such as the black mages, dark spirits, and her imprisoned great great grandfather.

After nine months the entire Jade Empire has been reduced to a wasteland as the Angra fortress creeped over it and took every living person it could find. Survivors are mostly found hiding in the shadows of the Lengdon mountain range. All of what was once Jade is now more Angra shenanigans, along with many strange horrifying monsters that were apparently monsters captured from Krovsokol’s wandering test subjects.

Eli himself flew into the storm of Angra’s Sthan Thi during the battle of the Jade Empire with Vassago and Sahar at his side to take on his own ascension as promised. Many reports indicate that it was bizarre as Eli finally expressed emotions of varying sorts during the buildup and the battle he had there. The current most popular rumor about it is that since Eli understood dark magic for so long he was aware of Angra the whole time and waiting for this conflict to happen. He isn’t a total psychopath, he was just bored of every other conflict when he knew that this one was coming. While we know that the rumor is somewhat false given that we can confirm he is mission emotions, it has proven popular among the mortals.

It is hard to say what happened when Eli fought through the fortress city because he went there to fight his own ascension, both it and himself have incredible power with illusions and in the end that makes it impossible to tell what actually happened. Judging by the fact that Eli flew out of the storm on his dragon we assume he won, but we can never be sure given the specific nature of our opponent and the powers that his ascension would have. It could be a clever trick, he could have been converted, or maybe he actually succeeded.

Whatever the truth of the matter, the result is Atlantis got a popularity boost as the first force to assault Angra at all and the only one to make any progress. Fortunately the Angra situation is happening so fast that most people in the west don’t even really comprehend what is going on in the east yet, so the few people criticizing the west remain a subtle minority among a population that doesn’t really get why anyone cares.

However, this popularity boost caught the attention of one notable group. A second alliance seems to have been created after the disappearance of Shen Rai along with all the demons, what remains of the Jakaal have joined Atlantis by necessity to fight Angra Mainyu. They seem to be having some cultural changes over time thanks to the absence of the demons, at least on the surface, and the necessities of fighting all these damned dragons and dark magic shenanigans. They have ceased to be mercenaries and instead taken up the banner of Atlantis for the time being with one purpose in mind, to kill really big things just to say they could. As Eli has very rarely been defeated and is feared by all the gods in the world so far, the Jakaal have decided to recognize him as the new king of the Jakaal unless Shen Rai should come reclaim the title from the pirate king. Shen Rai has notably not shown up for that duel.

Rumor has it that Eret ended up fighting Eli as well during the battle in the storm. Unfortunately due to the earlier mentioned problem of illusions we can’t tell exactly what happened or not.

The flying fortress city has begun to move westwards which has prompted the Divus and Akhetaten forces to deploy east, since working with Drakon had not been much of a possibility Naomi hadn’t taken action until now to deploy. The remnants of Drakon’s colonizers have taken shelter to the south east in what was once Divya Samrajya’s coastline.

While at least 80% of the altepetlan forces Angra had have been wiped out, he now has access to more striders, champions, and dragons to make up the difference. To date, no one has seen Angra actually partake in battle, he simply exists within the city as a deity everyone serves.

Atop of this, the air fleets are back, dozens of massive airships fill the sky around the fortress city to transport strike teams further distances then the city itself. Many Jinko have left Hale’a, Atlantis, and Si Da as if beckoned to return to Sima Wa’s side, bolstering Angra’s forces even further.

Despite being impossible to locate the effects of the demons are still being felt. Most notably because Saldis appears to be hard at work, the dead rise in mass everywhere Angra goes. Often contesting Angra but thousands just end up migrating in hordes that mysteriously disappear in the north.

So of course the snake guys show up now while everyone is busy. They particularly struck in what was once Thykenae all over again where the fewest of the alliance’s forces are really paying attention. With the counter snake ops being a bit busy with the counter Angra operation these assholes have taken the time to start aggressively recruiting again which is how we know they turned up.

Song Yi has been chosen to lead the alliance in its war against Angra, while it seems an odd choice as she is the youngest there she is the most powerful of the gods available. Jehovah and Brahma don’t move and so the spirit goddess is one of the only super gods available. Fortunately she’s had time over the years to become better at her gig, her sword alone rivals excalibur for destructive potential.

The problem with Song Yi being put into power is her plan is quite obvious, she’s summoning everyone in preparation to lead another crusade, but this one against Angra. Shahira is evacuating people into Hale’a Jeongsin as Angra approaches. Inevitably Angra will move towards Hale’a where Song’s spirits are strongest, and that is where she has chosen to hold the next big battle. Estimating a few months are available to come up with a better plan or make ready to do this before he gets too many other minions. Drakon is notably absent from this as they regroup to make their own plans in the south east and still don’t really associate with us any.

Shento:

While Drakon doesn’t really talk to us, there is one exception. Kiala has control over a small army of giant sized monsters that were given to her by Krovsokol. Elvira is here as well to gather data on how it all performs and report back to Drakon. After we die they will use the data of our battle to formulate their own plan to deal with this their way it seems, but Krovsokol was nice enough to let Kiala have his army of monsters for more efficient data gathering. Elvira likely will not be fighting, just observing, but it is noted that she was invited into the jungle by Kiala for tea. Many are uncomfortable with this, as now they have someone with first hand knowledge of the jungle if they should desire to invade it at a later date, but can’t really turn down army of free dragon-sized monsters.

Ryner reappeared from his northern isolation after Song Yi put out the official rallying call and is the primary envoy to Queen Naomi. To Anna’s annoyance he declared himself heir of Dracula and demanded all vampires obey him for the upcoming event, unfortunately for her Ryner is both more popular and more powerful by a very wide margin.

Ailani deployed the Mahane to the east to sneak around in the wake of all that destruction and harvest blood to bring home and empower more black mages. So thats a creepy thing thats going on. However, she has also gotten into an argument with Ryner about chain of command given that she has the title of Lord General the vampires, and Ryner, shoudl technically obey her who has been here this whole time, knows the land, knows the people (vampires included) and knows the enemies far better then the exiled hippy vampire does. She says Ryner’s only claim to authority is being the son of dracula and pure brute strength, and he’s not exactly listening to what she tells him to do as his Lord General. This causes another problem, Ryner is also the one Naomi trusts and works with despite his lackadaisical attitude and he will know what Divus is doing days before Ailani will.

The problem escalates as Ailani loses her grip over the state’s control because Ryner isn’t afraid of her nor is he easy to control. Alexandria and Anna both lean towards Ryner and if a power struggle were to go down Ailani’s formerly iron grip on the blood throne is now under serious threat. Akamu and Emilia for the most part are on the side of Ailani who also boasts the support of Hei and Aku Song since she is currently the technical Lord General. The whole situation is really happening purely because Ryner doesn’t give a shit and does whatever he wants not so much an actual mutiny but many gravitate towards him as the only figure who can contest Ailani who got her position almost by force.

Lin Sun:

Lately with the confirmed return of Eret the Aetas has been a bit uppity and constant discussion about Eret’s service to Angra pervades the territory. Some want to try and kill him others want to retrieve him and many are convinced its simply a false image of him to rile people up. It is known this discussion is also happening in Atlantis and Eret.

Recently Eret fought across the Jade Empire helping us see more of what he does now. Wielding an oversized sword to replace what was once his rapier it notably has the power of Song Fang’s unstoppable/immovable weapon even if it is shaped differently. He personally led the attack that would result in the defeat of Shenlong and defeated dozens of high ranking champions on his own and is the single most important minion Angra commands at the moment because of his ability to find ways to incapacitate rather then kill so easily and then throw them into the pits. Shenlong has disappeared along with the Jade Empire but as no death aspect killed him no one is entirely sure where he went.

Lukas ended up refusing admittance into the time chamber to Adin Va overall stating that with what her mother has done to her she needs to stabilize before trying to spend years in that place where she might just become a little bit crazy and then pop out trying to kill her mother or something.

With most of the populace living in the underworld now things are fairly stable but pretty isolated. Most focus remains on the time chamber and the training, Adin tends to train with members of the Honorbound since she isn’t being let into the actual chamber itself. She notably can already defeat Lukas and Hayate as her abilities are overwhelmingly strong to make up for any skill gaps.

Meanwhile Tena Xuequin has taken over the role of acting commander since Vris was away helping Con Lai with a project in the north at the time the alliance began to summon people. Forming into a massive crusading force, she holds command of the Aetas until Vris gets back and is working mostly on the logistics of amassing the alliance’s crusade.

Con Lai:

While Vris is able to resurrect the northern Sthan Thi for you the other pieces of the plan are not so collaborative. Naomi doesn’t want to declare a victory over the demons because it might make people lax, while Drakon and Angra are immediate concerns this isn’t the first time the demons have been defeated before bringing about the end of the world. Until Lucifer is actually confirmed dead she doesn’t want the world to think its safe from him, as right now despite his heavy losses we’re about to suffer pretty terrible losses as well and then he’ll likely be right back at it, if not already hatching a plan to get to the gates while everyone is busy with Angra. Though admittedly, whoever Lucifer’s boss is might be able to beat Angra so there’s a bright side perhaps.

The spirits also won’t move into Sthan thi, its surrounded by so much dead land that it would take years for the spirits to infiltrate that deep into it but most importantly, they still don’t accept walls. Until the walls are removed, it is considered a Vua Cai outpost not a Hale’a colony. Just as in Svarga, they remain frustratingly adamant to their demands and won’t negotiate on such a thing. It should be noted the root of the wall problem is that it stops natural traffic of the area, while they could protect an area from man-made armies to some degree their acceptable defenses would still be penetrateable with just some felling axes or the patience to walk over very inconvenient land formations its not quite as good as Sthan Thi’s original fortress walls but it would be better then just an open field, and all manner of wild life could still slip in and out that way and meet the spirit of their demand as opposed to the hard rule.

Contact with Vobrazhen turns out to be difficult because the slaves can’t leave the city they’re in, and traveling over such distances to talk to a dragon lord as a slave is basically impossible without going full blown ninja and definitely losing their spot as slaves in the city of Lesderevo. They could attempt it, but you will lose the convenience of having spies who can freely move throughout their current area to listen in on things without risking their lives.

As for some good news in the plans, Alice is actually captured by the Shinobi led by Yukari and brought to the dream realm with particular thanks to Fujin for helping out with the hiding from Eret and messing with Roc bits. She’s still asleep as no one wants to wake her up until you’re there though. Yukari suggests that she just eat Alice now and take her powers before waking her up for fear that she might keep messing with the dream realm or worse, pull something from Angra’s realm into this one.

While we were planning the Drakon outpost in the southeast of Jade owned by Nazarius came under assault by Angra Mainyu’s fortress. We discovered two new things, 1: Quetzalcoatl’s mouth apparently leads to Angra’s dimension and 2: Alice’s powers are still tied to the dream realm. We know about the latter because Milenkosi noticed some denizens are being forcefully torn straight out of the dream realm, what bothers him is the ones he found out it happened to don’t mention the incident.

Despite Angra’s casualties at the battle he has managed to acquire more striders for his growing army and his K/D rate is improving rapidly. Acquiring Nazarius as a new member of his legion when Nazarius got eaten by the giant snake god, which is how we learned that the Quetzalcoatl’s mouth is a sacrifice pit.

We also take note of one of his new champions that we had overlooked during his initial return since they weren’t recognizable. Known as The thousand faced witch, witch of a thousand faces, whatever alias you like. They’re a witch and they have a lot of faces. They’re distinctly noted for the ability to create masks of anyone who they can put a blank mask on. These masks allow her to change her appearance and powers to imitate the imprinted individual. Its almost never as good as the original, but it does give her a lot of diversity. The shinobi learned about her because of their captive giving away that Angra also has spies.

In all, Angra’s attention is focused on Jade and the Drakon colonies right now due to proximity. Unfortunately he’s acquiring dragons and striders for his army in doing so and while Drakon was favored in engagements at first the ratio is diminishing especially as more and more of them are added to Angra’s legion. Angra’s legion has diminished by several thousand, but the quality has been increasing.

The second major conflict came when Roc encountered the Atlanteans to the south. The eagle was forced to retreat after a long battle with the  pirates and their demon dragon. Though the major damage was dealt to it when it attacked an illusion of Eli that turned out to actually be Swain and it wound up goring itself. Soon after that the pirates disappeared before Angra could launch a more appropriate retaliation.

Shento:

Dual aspect research still seems to yield very little results, mostly because Kiala is doing it an entirely different way then the actual dual aspect things work by stitching people together. Johann has yet to figure anything out either and figures that to discover how this works he’d need to get his hands on one to study.

Shenlong doesn’t actually represent Drakon enough to make alliances for them and so far the Drakon don’t seem to be all that interested. Shenlong says that after engaging in conflicts with the likes of Asmodaeus and the Jakaal they’ve become distrustful of the natives around here. They wouldn’t put it past Azazel to have orchestrated this into his plan somehow.

In regards to the blood ritual we find thats not going to work short of Hei Song’s powers. Details covered in Con Lai’s interrogation investigations.

Lin Sun:

Well you can assume the flying fortress of death works on a similar principle to the tech of Dyaus in that in needs Sima Wa to function. It doesn’t help though that it was originally Sthan Thi which was the world’s super fortress made to withstand crusades, which makes it a bit difficult to damage.

The idea of having professors go through the time chamber has a problem in finding those willing to do so, professors tend to be good with people and teaching which is the opposite personality type that does well with years of isolation in a time chamber.

Vris is a little offended.

Con Lai:

Interrogation of Angrmons actually yields at least one bit of useful information. They’re not magically enslaved. It turns out that when people are sacrificed to Angra they go into his dimension he has as a Djinn, at which point time warps like it does for all djinn and they have spent centuries in a world that is created by Angra. Though the particular captive the Shinobi picked up don’t know enough about djinn mechanics to get into further details, and a large part of this is a bit of conjecture from their fanatic ramblings.

The team has deduced the problem with bringing down the fortress is that you have to fight gods to do it. Sima Wa is the key piece that lets it fly around but all the other gods are still there and approaching it means fighting them. This is why Naomi can’t just fly up and demolish the thing like she has showcased her ability to do to cities before. Because the giant snake god will eat her or something.

General:

After some recon thanks to the Vua Cai and several other nations some information was discovered about the Angra faction. The minions do not appear to be in a zombie state, they are fully animated and talk to many of the other members of the legion though we aren’t totally sure what they talk about as no one was willing to get that close.

We’ve also discovered that they break the bones of anyone they come across until their victim becomes immobile, then hold mass rituals to sacrifice them to Angra which evidently is how he gets more minions. The implication is that their conversion method is less efficient then Saldis, so dying in battle to them spares you becoming their minion. On the other hand, not dying in battle against them seems to be a pretty horrible fate.

The battle in Doi Cho Len with Drakon seems to have yielded favorable results for Drakon as the striders were much more powerful then the former Altepetlans, but they still couldn’t hold the island and were forced off with some few hundred striders being taken alive. Which is how we learned about the crazy ritual sacrifice thing.

In other bad news, Angra’s fortress can fly now and it sailed off of the island like a colossal airship. Notably, it took the storm with it. As it moves westward his minions drop down to capture anyone who didn’t start running away when they should have and return them to the citadel to sacrifice. It is moving towards the Jade Empire’s south eastern border. Fortunately it seems rather slow.

Jinko in Kagayakashi are having an existential crisis and aren’t sure how to feel about things. Sima Wa has clearly demonstrated his joy for building really ridiculous things still persists so the main feature of his personality is intact right?

In similar news some small groups around the world have decided to praise Angra as their new god voluntarily and are now just sacrificing each other to join his “super awesome kingdom”. On the upside they’re less destructive then the snake cult since they’re just killing themselves but it is foreboding that just his appearance has made dark magic appealing to many newcomers who realize that a sacrificial death simply results in them appearing on his flying city. To which note there are several prophets of Angra going from town to town to tell people how awesome it is living on a flying city, they appeal mostly to those who are poor and/or homeless. They’re basically Angra’s Witness, when you least expect it they show up to ask if you’ve heard about the path to salvation. It doesn’t help they don’t wear a uniform or official markings so its hard to find them before they start preaching.

Shento:

Brahma has stopped really acknowledging anyones attempts to communicate with him, even if he does understand the concept. It is possible that unlike Jehovah he doesn’t want to hand the stuff out, or that upkeep stuff wouldn’t be particularly good for him given his whole nation is dead which means so are his followers.

El Dorado pillaging went fairly well as Samedi didn’t care about moving the gold nor the city itself. He spent all his time traveling the world preparing for Angra’s return, since then he’s never gone back to the golden city.

Eztli’s time in the chamber affects his personality, he is a lot quieter now days. He is a much more effective combatant but now follows Ailani around and just obeys. The other kids stopped hanging out with him since he doesn’t talk much and he just hangs out with Ailani and Hei who are not terribly social.

Lin Sun:

With the exception of the actual honorbound who were chosen for having the right personality the chamber is starting to have affects on people who train in it. Kaisa has become much calmer and more controlled. It seems a century of combat practice made combat boring for her, training with her is usaully her just 1 shotting anyone who steps up and telling them to “git gud” then going off to do something else. She’s stopped going in altogether ever since gun training became more prevalent.

Adin is in a weird limbo with her mental state. She seems perfectly fine and acts normal 90% of the time so its hard to really undo her state of mind. Its likely by sending her through the time chamber she’d have the time to process and become detached enough to retain an edge that comes from detachment like many others are showcasing even if they are terribly boring people now.

In the meantime the university is going better as its worked out the kinks over the last ten years since the attack and has access to the knowledge of some other crazy people from the other cults.

The preservation of Divus culture has proven impossible by the existence of the king. Divus culture has had to alter radically to keep up with the times and the black mage king. Considering it was based around a church that was a great big con, it makes sense the culture’s preservation isn’t really an option.

Hale’a:

Song Yi eventually reappeared from vacation when Adrelemech appeared to the east and got the alliance back together. The fire dragon’s sudden approach was slowed when they learned that Naomi existed. Up until now she had been busy with Divus problems, but with Excalibur she was able to kill several dragons when they tried to pressure Shahira without much thought as to what remained. Turns out Adrelemech barely knows much about Krovkom and Nazarius’ experiences with the jakaal and now they are more slowly feeling things out after Song Yi cut one in half with her overpowered spirit sword and Kikai strangled a whelp to death with his hands.

The blood jungles have been having a lot of political changes, especially with Ailani taking power and declaring herself every highest title in the state including Lord General. The Crimson order has been taken over by Alexandria who is now actually scary for once though a lot less friendly. Its jungles are no longer open enrollment and the export of champions is slowing, an affect noticeable by how many people appeared in the roster update who were specifically not black mages. Now there is more of a hunger games style thing that goes on there to ensure competitors are on a bit more even footing instead of professionals coming in and farming them.

The Aetas university has managed to progress to a point further then before the time skip, over ten years it recruited more interest then even before the attacks simply due to time expended. So far the time chamber works now and produced the fifty elite warriors of the honorbound led by Commander Lucas. However, they are generally regarded as being weirdos in general. Some are really withdrawn and quiet, others act like the same food stand they ate at a week ago is the most glorious thing they’ve ever experienced and are overly excited about every little thing that isn’t from the time chamber.

The Vua Cai has become the most powerful merchant based faction in the western world now that Shahira is on a steep decline of economic power and the dream network makes them the most efficient traders. Recently a long economic battle with the forces of Mammon took place in Divus, and the Vua Cai managed to come out on top after two years of throwing money at problems in the correct way. While the operation wound up losing the Vua Cai money, they managed to acquire so much control over the Divus economy that they were able to extort Naomi a little bit. In exchange for giving Naomi back that economy, Con Lai had Naomi marry Jin Zhang. The economy was the wedding gift, and it works well for politics since now Divus and Hale’a are much closer tied together.

The city of Lo’c was never rebuilt, Kagayakashi instead took over as the jinko’s tech city since it was there, it wasn’t blown up, and they are fond of the spiked tree. Though the city has recently had some issues in obeying commands the problem has been resolved, however it is foreboding. Since the loss of Lo’c, a new masutomaindo has been appointed, some weird jinko with a knack for creativity.

Divus:

With Naomi taking over as queen the country is at least surviving. Though her nation wants her to stop flying to war all the time. Somewhat extorted by Con Lai into marrying Jin Zhang, the nation has been a little bit weird since Jin is a black mage and foreigner.

Their rebuild has actually gone really well thanks to help from the Vua Cai’s plan to profit off of helping them. Which is how they wound up extorting her into that marriage.

They boast the most powerful champions in the world now, with Jin Zhang, Naomi, and Galahad all in the tier 0 range. Not to mention Naomi being the reigning champion for her weight class of humanoid sized heroes.

For those curious, the marriage is rather peculiar. Jin is so lazy that he only helps when he is asked to and is otherwise content to just hang out and do nothing. Naomi at least appreciates this, his laziness makes her job easier. Zhang even agreed to name their kid after her so that the Divus royalty would keep a Divus name. They have had two kids in the last 10 years, though notably there are probably a lot of bastards around as Jin still is rather adventurous. Naomi only had sex with him to make the kids to shut people up about heirs, other then that she hired full time prostitutes to follow him around to keep him busy while she ran the nation.

Akhetaten:

The snake cult disappeared for awhile to the point that Jin just said screw it and went home, though the spy networks are always on the lookout for when they might make their next big play. It is suspected that they’ve taken enough damage that Nergal has stopped using them for his purposes for the time being.

Akhetaten has become the most dominant western nation since annexing Thykenae solved a lot of the environmental restrictions that kept them from expanding all that quickly, they are considered the most powerful seat in alliance politics due to the expanse of their territory and military.

Altepetl:

Over the last ten years they’ve picked up a bit in recovering from that zombie apocalypse that happened with the Saldis thing though they still have a ways to go, after the mass sacrifices and then the mass deaths to Saldis’ conversion to Si Da the only thing they have going for them would be Bahamut at the moment. That and Ishtar is pretty popular.

They have the second largest expanse of underworld and have been migrating into it more then any other nation besides Hale’a, as most others just can’t let go of the surface dwelling.

Jade Empire:

The Jade empire continues to exist in a state of unknown politics. They are functionally members of Drakon and their port and cities are used as major landing points for Drakon people coming over to see about this continent. However, they still actively act as members of the alliance when it doesn’t conflict with their own interests. Their champions attend Senshi-con and divulge information about the Drakon people freely, and Shenlong did stop Krovkom from threatening the gate after all.

Because of their membership with the new nation there was a time of social strife due to the difference in culture, especially with how Drakon view non-dragon aspects. Shenlong has kept non-striders to the farmlands in the countryside for the most part and rebuilt the Imperial Throne with mostly striders who have immigrated to the Jade Empire.

Shahira:

As they continue to build up they still remain the most aloof member of the alliance. Promising only to assist to protect a recognized national border, they promise nothing about colonies or attacks. This is their way of avoiding getting pulled into a fight they don’t want to in the future.

They’ve actually weakened economically now that the eastern world is in ruins and there is little trading for merchants that can cross the desert to do. What was once their specialty has now been replaced by either dream doors or the simple fact that Hale’a can offer passage through the southern wild lands. With trade deteriorating they foresee an eventual loss of their whole gimmick and work to find other ways to keep themselves with a decent standard of living out in this terrible desert. Many people just picked up and left to other nations, which has only made the matter worse. It is unlikely Shahira will remain around much longer as anything more then a loose collection of nomadic tribes.

Si Da:

Has almost vanished from the international eye after the fall of Sthan Thi. Most of their population are spread far around the world in villages and it seems like the bulk of what was once considered Si Da has retreated into the demon realm to plot and scheme in safety from any incoming crusades that might prey on their lack of walls. As such it has become very difficult to tell where team Si Da might choose to appear and strike again, but they’ve been quiet for the last ten years. Which worries people.

So far no one knows where the entrance or exit to hell actually is anymore, the old one is gone and Lucifer never revealed the method to opening and closing these to anyone before.

Drakon:

Most of their stuff is covered in roster updates but for the most part many of the incoming dragon masters have been too distracted by the coastal wealth they could colonize and very few take interest in going to war with the west just for the hell of it. They’ve decided they’ll get around to it when they’re good and ready.

Vua Cai spies report a strange movement spawning on the eastern continent. A group of activists argue that the new world (our continent) should stop being colonized so rapidly. Boundaries should be put into place and it should be declared a nature preserve for fear that colonization is displacing native species and ecosystems that might become endangered. Well its not quite ‘they’re people too’ but hey its something.

Eight years ago Krovsokol, often referred to as Sokol, arrived and began to conduct his experiments. This involved abducting all manner of people and often releasing monsters into the world to watch them cause as much destruction as possible and keep track of how effective they are. He has captured orcs, vampires, demons, denizens, and even a djinn with his specialist team of specimen hunters. What he turns them into varies wildly.

Two years ago Adremelech arrived and actually resumed the campaign of Drakon with intent to conquer the entire continent for sport if nothing else. This has contributed greatly to the downfall of Shahira, as they like the sunny desert it turns out. Recently due to developments in the eastern colonies they’ve had to turn their asses around though.

Because these assholes showed up just yesterday.

An immediate council of the alliance is being held in response, Drakon also seems to be conferring with Shenlong on what to do.

Everybody likes Tier Lists. This time we get comprehensive and shit, just to make this roster update even longer.

Tier 0. Over the last decade we’ve seen an increase in tier 0’s, mostly those that have lived long enough to get this far. As the general levels of opposition has also increased surviving encounters becomes worth more exp as well. Seated comfortably here are people with ludicrous powers or levels of power but Tier 0 still remains exclusive to fighters with physique and combat skill over super cheap gimmicks which keeps some people like Swain and Eli out of the tier 0 category.

Saint Naomi – Despite her recent change of lifestyle she still remains in the same tier.

Ryner – Same ol’ Same ol’.

Vassago – Kind of inevitable given he is a giant hellfire spewing dragon. It could be argued that Vassago is the king of tier 0 but it feels a little unfair since he is definitely not in the same weight class as his competitors.

Vo Kim – His synergetic power set might be gimmicky but he is still the most skilled mortal member of the Jakaal, having boasted several kills on high ranking striders and dragon whelps, it is likely that even without using his powers Vo Kim could take down most opponents.

Van Djao – While he lacks the pure skill that Vo Kim has, Van makes up for it in physical strength and his aspect powers as the Si Da #1 avatar. Arguably Vo Kim would likely beat him in a fight but he is still the posterboy for Si Da since Vo is Jakaal and his loyalties to Si Da are questionable at best.

Nazarius – As a death aspected dragon master he is a flying skeletal dragon with a death breath weapon. Among dragon masters Nazarius stands out as one of the most dangerous since he can both kill through regeneration and survive normally lethal damage. His intellect and strategy also keeps him comfortably seated here at the top of the food chain and he can claim credit for the destruction of many Si Da bases, armies, and the Jakaal pit.

Hatshe – Given the strange high prophet power she holds from Horus the sheer diversity of her powers as well as their general power level makes up for her lack of martial skills. The number of options she has also prevents her from being called gimmicky and is considered more of a battlemage style combatant to be marked off as tier 0.

Jin Zhang – After multiple campaigns against the enemies of the Vua Cai along with a high survival rating and years to increase his powers, Jin has finally entered into legend. These days he has a 1.0 of every possible aspect and all of his stats are moderately high across the board.

Galahad – This isn’t really surprising to anyone. Galahad has proven he can beat both Ryner and Uriel.

Ira – The last of the original Senshi, and the current most powerful among them. With the dark spirit infusion she has actually gained even more control over her rage as the years have gone on. The challenge of her dark spirits only allowed her to grow and progress, now she is similar to Ryner in that she has a lot of just pure strength and durability with a huge weapon. Though unlike Ryner, she has much better tactical insight and technique.

Sahar Tahani – In the years of acting as a traveling companion to demigods and later on fighting gods alongside pirates it is no surprise that Sahar has finally reached the higher tiers. As her creativity with her Djinn powers expands and her veterancy gives her better insight into her opponents, she has moved past overwhelming enemies and is now a highly diverse and creative killer similar to Jin. While she doesn’t have the martial skills of her closest comparison, she can be thought to have high tiers of any power she wants if she just pieces together how to make it work.

Saiko Kessaku – Also getting in under the Vassago clause, Saiko’s size, armor, and strength make him almost impossible to defeat for smaller creatures. There aren’t any gimmicky powers here, just pure firepower and armor.

Eret Daiheb – With the power of Baal in his weapon, Eret has finally paired physical power with his foresight. With the ability to predict opponents perfectly and the raw force needed to destroy opponents that would normally overwhelm him, he finally tastes that tier 0 goodness.

Adremelech – Its a veteran conqueror and huge dragon, this one is obvious.

Tier 1. Seeing the same increase, Tier 1’s are also becoming more common among the named character list. Though largely in part due to the drakon.

Divus Situation: Well that escalated quickly

Both sides try to avoid hurting the civilian populace but since both claim dominion over the civilians they are actively based among them which prevents a massive battle from breaking out and instead there were just small skirmish situations.

And then Shento’s forces arrived and it all went to shit. While this put Naomi really far ahead on the military angle at first, it almost immediately turned every undecided against her. Millenia of hatred towards black mages resurfaced in an instant and Divus just broke down into colossal battles. Cities burned as formerly civilian agents now attacked Naomi and her forces. Half the templars swapped sides, and the Inquisitors became no longer neutral, resurfacing to repel the army of serial killers Naomi had brought to their doorstep.

Despite some of the paladins having grown used to associating with Song Yi’s black mages, the rest of Divus still despises them. Eli’s opportunistic recruiting and raiding during the war also hasn’t helped Naomi’s case since she’s accused of being controlled by him.

In the end after months of fighting, Naomi was able to finally find and kill Jebediah with the help of the Vua Cai which removed Nergal’s primary agent. But on the grand scale, the entirety of the nation hated her too much now.

After a convincing pep talk from some wordful dream shinobi and the crimson order, they opted to see this through. Naomi went full…well Naomi on Divus. Entire cities were destroyed by her single handedly, every village that dared to speak against her got wiped out brutally and the fear of god was put into all who defied her.

After much war, Gabriel and Uriel were defeated and the capital of Divus now looks like Svarga, while the Crimson order was a militant force there after the battle of Svarga their numbers were low and the majority of command was taken over by Galahad so no live session of combat this time. Naomi’s followers maintained strong support for her after Song Yi relented to release Hei Lang into the war. It imbued her people with the malice needed to not really see how they were now slaughtering their own people in mass to ensure Naomi’s version of the truth was all that remained.

As luck would have it, it turned out Ishikawa was able to assassinate King Arthur with minimal problem. Despite how stupid OP Excalibur is, it apparently doesn’t have an enemy radar on it. After Ishikawa returned to base camp with the legendary sword the general response was “so that happened.” If there were any who doubted Naomi’s actions as being a bit overkill, they were quiet about it ever since Naomi was named the queen of Divus. In taking the title of queen, she became capable of wielding Excalibur. People took that as a divine sign that she was in the right and thanks to Hei Lang they’re having a hard time really comprehending the massacre that just happened. Thanks to Excalibur, Naomi solidly claims the title of the most powerful mortal in the (known) world.

Vris comments that Divus has been destroyed technically speaking. Almost all of its leadership died to a mutiny and most of its prominent angels died out too. The cities are in ruins and most of its artifacts and libraries were destroyed. Naomi becoming queen and continuing to call it Divus doesn’t necessarily mean it is still the true Divus Imperium anymore. While the commentary seems needlessly technical, she has been notably studying the apocalypses of history that restart eras. Her closing statement was “Eight down, three to go.”

Song Yi disappeared after the war, Ira has expressed concerns about that but Izumi stated that Song is in a volcano somewhere taking a vacation before the next war breaks out. Krovkom is dead, Nazarius is being chill with Shenlong, the Divus war is over. She just wants one damned year of vacation before she has to deal with more shit. Izumi would disappear along with her as they went to go hang out together. Song left Kikai in charge of holding down the fort while she’s away and he’s the only one that knows exactly where to find her in case another war breaks out and she is absolutely positively needed to come back.

Shento:

Requests go well to establish an embassy in Dahika Al-Mazah. Shahira will agree to join the alliance on the condition that their membership is applicable only toward Drakon. They are not involved with the crusades against Si Da and will remain neutral if any other faction wars break out and will not invade Drakon. They agree to help as a purely defensive measure against Drakon aggression provided they are actively invading a recognized national border. Given the death of Taiyo and Divya, they will not hinder Drakon colonization in those areas.

The quest for the cult of Brahma proves difficult because of the lack of anyone in the area willing to worship a god whose nation has fallen so far. Even those that agree to help around the temple aren’t terribly faithful to the idea. On the upside, the old priests of Divya do remember how to create Kulina so the concept of vaguely gesturing at Brahma is within the realm of possibility with perhaps some breakthroughs in the field of interpretive dance.

On the other hand, neither the churches of Indra or Vinasa seem interested in your offer. Their cults are not going to grow any faster then Brahma’s which is already shaky and the idea of guarding the door is not appealing. Indra has actually just wandered off from his temple entirely and was last known to be hanging around Akhetaten.

To which end, the archeological team from the Aetas academy (Vris) points out that historically speaking, the apocalypses that happen to mark the end of each era often leave almost everything screwed up and new nations tend to rise around this point. Instead of building a few cults for convenience, it might be more prudent to follow the historical example and build a new nation there. Granted, that has a load of other problems but she thought she’d point it out since this is basically a repeat of the Otoroshi apocalypse in terms of nations falling apart and new ones popping up.

Emilia with a solid intel draw manages to actually crack the Lo’c case over time and figure out where he is. He’s with Si Da, and was one of the major traitors. As it turns out, he never really felt comfortable leaving Si Da behind and was forced to do so in a bit of a hurry. With the passing of Sima Wa and the constant demand for more progress he never quite got into the Hale’a thing. Song Yi’s rule had a lot of rules that were unpopular with a variety of the forge city’s formerly Si Da populace. The recent major attack sped up its timetable specifically to extract a series of high value assets from undercover since Emilia was actually making too much progress on this whole thing. This news also comes with another spy report, the demons have a suspicious amount of jinko already in their ranks.

Con Lai:

The war with the snake cult experiences some setbacks given that they seem to have disappeared and all leads went dark after the recent continent wide catastrophe. Ever since they failed to liberate Apophis they’ve taken to laying low, and Jin meets with minimal success in regards to finding out where they’re laying low at.  Currently they are headed to Thykenae, the forested areas out there would be more beneficial to hiding monstrous individuals he figures. If the regular ones are just laying low, he’s forced to hunt the monstrous ones like Lamia who cannot hide among normal society in order to continue looking for leads.

Ryoka overtakes the position of governor, though as a professional ninja she’s less vulnerable to assassination then Rena anyways, but she resigns to doing paperwork in the dream realm near Milenkosi for the time being.

The army is proving difficult to rebuild. The lessons from the last battle was that the army sucks at fighting dragons and black mages still. Recruiting is hard as all this war has been killing people in such large numbers that no one is all to keen to join many militaries that actually risk deployment these days. This is making it more expensive to entice recruits to risk their lives.

The river of lava dreams has a major problem, getting a door built in a place where lava flows yet doesn’t touch the construction area. Atop of that, it turns out lava is not good for the structural integrity of the door in the first place.

The insurance policy of the Vua Cai in the wake of the destruction of merchant fleets does well to fix up PR. Nothing soothes merchants like money after all, while the recovery effects aren’t exactly instant it does go a long way to upkeeping the reputation of Adelaide’s trade port. This is part of why the army rebuilding is not going too fast though, as wealthy as the Vua Cai have become, that is a lot of insurance payout.

As a member of the Hale’a pantheon, you and the Vua Cai were not allowed to even approach the secretary that would let you speak to Arthur without hostilities. Since Shento put his military support behind Naomi the other side is not open to discussion with anyone from the Hale’a pantheon unless it is for Naomi’s surrender. Oh well, Naomi is queen now.
